Nostalgia Series

My Nostalgia inspired art began with my series, "Dia De Los Simpsons" and it's second iteration called "Muppet Lore". Both series are based on nostalgic love for some of the first characters that inspired me as a child and reignited that spark as their continued popularity was appreciated by my children and students. At art fairs shows and exhibitions, this series has been the best example of parents and children, students and teachers, and communities as a whole finding excitement and enthusiasm for the artwork. The cross-generational connection of iconic characters that have existed and evolved over decades, gives them a life of their own. We grow old but the art lives on.
